Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 31, 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how AscendMaxx / Spartan Foundry ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, mobile applications, and related services (the "Services").

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

  • Account data: email address, authentication identifiers, and profile settings you provide.
  • Usage data: app interactions, device type, OS version, coarse diagnostics, and crash or error reports (when enabled).
  • Content you submit: images or inputs you choose to upload for analysis, feedback, or coaching features.
  • Referral and creator data (War Room): referral codes, attribution logs, payout-related identifiers, and Stripe onboarding data where you enroll as a creator.
  • Transaction data: subscription status as reported by app stores and verification tokens processed by our servers (we do not receive your full payment card number from Apple/Google).

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, secure, and improve the Services.
  • Authenticate users and manage subscriptions and entitlements.
  • Run creator programs, leaderboards, and payouts where applicable.
  • Detect abuse, fraud, and technical issues; analyze aggregated usage trends.
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on appropriate bases such as contract (providing the Services), legitimate interests (security and product improvement, balanced against your rights), and consent where required (e.g., certain analytics or marketing, if offered).

5. Sharing

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who assist with hosting, analytics, error reporting, email, or customer support, under contractual safeguards.
  • Payment and payout processors (e.g., Apple, Google, Stripe) as needed to process purchases or creator payouts.
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell your personal information as "sale" is defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Technical logs may be retained for shorter periods. Backup systems may persist copies for a limited time.

7. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International transfers

If we process information across borders, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.

9. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us using the details in your app store listing or support page.

10. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us to request deletion.

11. Cookies and local storage (web)

Our web portal may use cookies or local storage for session management and preferences. JWTs or similar tokens stored in browser storage carry security implications—use a modern browser and sign out on shared devices.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy and revise the "Last updated" date. Where required, we will provide additional notice.

13. Contact

For privacy requests, contact the address published in the app store listing or on our support page. Replace this with your designated privacy contact once finalized.
